Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA)
The Department of Transportation is committed to assuring
equal employment opportunity for persons with disabilities. To this end,
it is the Department’s policy to provide reasonable accommodation to a
qualified individual with a disability to enable such person to perform the
essential functions of the job in which they are employed or the state
government position for which they are applying. This policy also extends
