Overnight Lane Closures on the Southern State Parkway in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County
The New York State Department of Transportation advised motorists today that two eastbound lanes on the Southern State Parkway in the Town of Oyster Bay between exit 30 (North Broadway) and the Nassau/Suffolk county border will be closed on Thursday, April 22 starting at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning for pothole repairs. Motorists are urged to plan accordingly and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
