Albany to New York is the 5th highest intercity travel market on the Northeast Corridor (NEC). These projects reduce delays and improve reliability for passenger rail between communities along the Empire Corridor, which connects the NEC to upstate New York cities, and western destinations such as Chicago to the Northeast.
