Steel Details Vulnerability Manual Cover Content:This document describes the assessment phase of the Bridge Safety Assurance program for Steel Details Vulnerability. Specific details on the assessment process are described and some general evaluations and implementation techniques are also included.
The goal of the steel detail vulnerability program is to identify the relative vulnerability of the state's bridges to failure due to steel details so that necessary vulnerability reduction measures can be implemented in an efficient and effective manor.
